The official Arduino Due (Original - Made in Italy) is the first Arduino to use a 32-bit ARM architecture with the Atmel SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 CPU central controller. This allows the Arduino Due to have high processing speed, large program memory capacity, and superior peripheral communication compared to regular Arduino versions. It is suitable for high-complexity projects. An important note when using it is that the Arduino Due has a TTL 3.3VDC logic communication level (regular Arduino boards use 5VDC), so when connecting with circuits with a higher logic communication voltage level, you need to use additional signal level conversion circuits to avoid damaging the Arduino Due.
