Note: 

  • The sensor measures distance optically, so the measurement results will be affected and inaccurate with mirror surfaces and smooth reflections. In addition, if the sensor is dirty or dusty, it will also affect the measurement results, so it is necessary to Clean the sensor with a dust blower or damp cloth. Do not use strong solvents as it will damage the sensor. Be careful not to remove the sensor cover as this may distort or damage the sensor.
  • It is necessary to supply the correct 5VDC voltage and direction of the source, incorrect supply will burn the sensor immediately.
  • Use the sensor at specified temperatures from -20 degrees to a maximum of 60 degrees Celsius.
  • A command to save the settings needs to be sent for the new settings on the sensor to take effect.
